What
Does It Mean?
The new Christ
Church Anglican logo is a central Canterbury Cross expressing that
we are centered in Christ as well as representing our historic roots
in the Church of England.
The cross is
surrounded by our name “Christ Church Anglican” signifying
that Christ is in our midst as we move forward on our journey of
faith. The entire motif is mounted on a Compass Rose which represents
the Anglican Communion. The compass points also proclaim Christ’s
universal call throughout the world to follow Him.
The Canterbury
Cross is mounted on a contemporary representational background reminiscent
of stained glass; a reminder of the great cathedrals we claim as
our heritage.
